Reseller Spotlight: Artifacts Gallery

Nestled in the charming coastal village of Cambria, California, Artifacts Gallery has long been a cultural cornerstone for both locals and visitors. Surrounded by towering pines, ocean views, and a vibrant arts scene, this fine art gallery has been a beloved destination for over two decades. From high-end sculptures to limited edition prints and bespoke framing, Artifacts Gallery offers an experience as inspiring as the art it showcases.

In celebration of American Artist Appreciation Month, we spoke with owner Thad Markham and art consultant Trish Anselmo to learn more about their journey, their community, and how MOVA Globes have found a place among their carefully curated collection.

How did Artifacts Gallery begin?

The gallery was founded in 1993, following a life-changing moment for Thad. After the tragic loss of a close friend, he made the decision to pursue a more meaningful path—one that aligned with his passion for art and creativity. That same year, Artifacts Gallery opened its doors, and it has continued to evolve ever since.

What makes your gallery unique?

As an independent retailer, the gallery takes pride in curating its own selection of artists and artwork. This often includes giving emerging artists their first opportunity to exhibit their work.

The diversity of the collection—from fine art to unique gifts—ensures that there is something for every visitor.

How do you support your community?
