Saying Thank You to Our Teachers

During Teacher Appreciation Week, observed from 4th to 8th May, we take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to the teachers who dedicate their time, energy, and passion to shaping the minds and futures of our children. Through encouragement, patience, and boundless commitment, teachers not only educate but also inspire, uplift, and help every student realise their full potential.

Teachers make a difference that goes far beyond the classroom. They play vital roles in schools, communities, and families across the world — guiding young minds, nurturing curiosity, and instilling a lifelong love of learning.

How Are You Showing Your Appreciation?

Whether it’s a heartfelt thank-you, a handwritten note, a thoughtful gift like a MOVA Globe, or organising a class-wide celebration, there are countless meaningful ways to show teachers how valued they are. Even the smallest gesture can make a lasting impression.

This Teacher Appreciation Week, we invited you to share your admiration by submitting an essay about a teacher who’s made a profound impact. The entries we received were touching, genuine, and a true testament to the power of great teaching.

Congratulations to Erin, whose moving tribute to Miss Rapczynski earned her the top spot in our contest!
